The United States market will get the new 2015 Tundra TRD Pro with a price starting from $41,285. The Toyota Racing Development experts have envisioned the Pro package for off-road aficionados.
The new version is slated to reach dealerships late this month, next to its Tacoma and 4Runner TRD Pro Series siblings. The model features a revised grille a front mounted skid plate and a 2-inch front lift. There are also extensive modifications of the suspension assembly: TRD Bilstein shocks both front and rear for increased oil capacity and suspension travel and TRD-tuned front springs.
The cosmetic makeover goes to encompass new TRD floor mats, TRD shift knobs, TRD Pro instrument panel ornament insert and black TRD alloy wheels. The 5.7-liter V8 model also features a TRD dual exhaust system. Especially for the launch of the model there’s also a scorching new color available: Inferno, joining the usual line-up.
The pricing ranges from $41,285 for the Double Cab – 5.7-liter V8 and 6-speed automatic transmission – to $43,900 for the CrewMax V8 model.
