Toyota has recently released a teaser image with the new Corolla generation, which will make its public debut on the 6th of June.
The brand new Toyota Corolla, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by the carmaker, which has released a new teaser image, revealing its taillight. The model will be officially unveiled n the 6th of June and it will be offered in four trim levels, the base, the LE, the S and the Eco. Power should be provided by a 1.8L 4-cylinder unit with VVT, mated to a six-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. A CVT will be available as an option.
As a quick reminder, the Toyota Corolla, in its new generation, is based on the Furia Concept, which has been unveiled at the beginning of 2013, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The concept car was 4,620 mm long (181,9 inch), 1,805 mm wide (71 inch) and 1,425 mm tall (56.1 inch), riding on a wheelbase of 2,700 mm (106.3 inch). The model had narrow taillights and a large front grille, amongst others, which are expected to be adopted by the Corolla.
