Toyota is returning to the mini-MPV sector with this new Verso S – a mini MPV set to be unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
It is seen within Toyota as a niche model, like the Urban Cruiser, and therefore will carry a price premium over its closest rivals in the B-segment market, such as the Kia Venga.
For the moment, few details have been given, but from the pictures it’s easy to see that both the inside and the exterior styling are influenced by the larger Toyota Verso.
The firm adds that the interior will boast impressive flexibility and a design which maximises usable space, comfort and perceived quality.
The Verso-S will go on to replace the now out-of-production Yaris Verso in Europe.
Toyota will also use the Paris show to reveal a new interior finish for the iQ micro car and a new, multimedia system for the Aygo
