Toyota has recently revealed the facelifted version of the Wish MPV, announcing that the model will go on sale in Japan later on this year.
According to the Japanese based car manufacturer, the Toyota Wish facelift is coming with some subtle changes to its body and better interior trims, materials and textures, along with an improved fuel efficiency and the most significant change, the front design, which can be seen in the photo gallery posted below this article. The Toyota Wish facelift will still be offered with the same 1.8 liter and 2.0 liter engines as the first generation, but the larger unit is only being offered with six seats, while the smaller one is also coming with all-wheel drive and seven seats.
The 1.8 liter 2ZR-FAE engine is developing a total output of 143 PS and it has a peak torque of 173 Nm available at 4,000 rpm for the two-wheel drive, while the four-wheel drive version is coming with 130 PS and 161 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The larger unit, the 2.0 liter Valvematic 3ZR-FAE, is generating 152 PS and 193 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpm, mated to a seven-speed CVT transmission. The Toyota Wish facelift will be launched in Malaysia too, later on this year.
