Toyota has released the first official images and details with the facelifted version of the Yaris, which will go on sale soon on the Old Continent.
With updating the Vitz (Japanese Yaris) for the new model year and presenting the new generation of the Aygo, Toyota has also worked its magic around the Yaris for the Old Continent, as the model in question has been inspired by the two vehicles mentioned above. The 2015 Toyota Yaris is now getting a tweaked platform, in order to increase the maneuverability and to make the ride more comfortable.
The vehicle is also getting some high quality finishes for the cabin and the options list now includes the electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors. The central console has been raised by 23 mm to shorten the gearstick lever by 30 mm. Thanks to this change, engineers were able to offer an extra storage space. Some chrome finishes can also be spotted here, along with two multimedia systems, which have been updated. The engines list include a 1.0L and a 1.33L, both petrol powered, along with a 1.4L diesel and a hybrid version. Prices will be announced soon, close to the model’s launch.
