The 2015 Toyota Yaris has been unveiled in a few images, ahead of its sale date scheduled for the following months.
The facelifted version of the Toyota Yaris has received some interesting updates, especially on the front fascia, which is now inspired by the new Aygo, with the trapezoidal lower grille, LED daytime running lights integrated into the darkened headlights, the deeper front bumper, the fresh wheel design, the revised rear stlying with the new taillights and some other tweaks.
“The official Yaris images released today show the new hatch embraces Toyota’s contemporary “keen look” design language with a full-width upper grille that extends into new triangular headlamps”, said the company in the official press release.
The rear-end of the updated Toyota Yaris didn’t receive any official images but chances are this will be carried over from the JDM-spec Vitz, with the mildly tweaked bumper, altered license plate area and updated taillights. A cabin of the model has been also revised and it’s now packing the newest version of the Toyota Link infotainment system. The engine lineup will be taken from the outgoing version and this will also include the hybrid version. More details on the model remain unknown for the moment and will be announced over the following days.
