The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently announced that the Yaris is getting a special edition in the United Kingdom, named the Trend.
According to the car manufacturer, the all-new Toyota Yaris Trend Special Edition is aimed towards younger “design conscious” buyers and it’s adding some interesting features compared to the standard versions of the model which should make it more appealing to its target. The Japanese based automaker says that the Toyota Yaris Trend Special Edition is getting with a floating roof effect thanks to B- and C- pillars.
The model is offered with chrome fog lamp surrounds, LED lamp clusters, roof spoiler, two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels, black and white color scheme with ochre accents, the seats have been upholstered in a leather look material, the upper dashboard panels have been finished in white and the center console now has a different geometry.
Toyota has also shortened the gear shift and fitted it with a larger knob and gave the Yaris Trend Special Edition a new touch, in terms of deco line graphics which have been applied on the doors, front wings, headrests and dashboard. Prices for the Toyota Yaris Trend Special Edition haven’t been announced yet. The model will go on sale in 2013.
