The Japanese based automaker Toyota has recently presented to the public the Yaris GRMN Turbo at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon.
After the car manufacturer has decided to reveal the Toyota iQ GRMN supercharged at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, with its 1.33 liter supercharged engine developing 128 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque, the company has also presented another creation, the Yaris GRMN Turbo (Gazoo Racing Tuned by MN) at the same Japanese automotive event, which is actually the Asian version of the Las Vegas Auto Show. According to the car manufacturer, the Toyota Yaris GRMN Turbo is actually coming with some interesting features and an impressive output, squeezed out of a small engine.
The Toyota Yaris GRMN Turbo revealed at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon is based on the three-door Yaris and it’s coming with a new structure, including the 18 inch wheels. Under the hood, the Toyota Yaris GRMN Turbo is powered by a 1.5 liter turbo engine which is developing a total output of 178 horsepower, but that’s the only details we’ve got on the model for now. Besides the GRMN iQ and Yaris, the Toyota stand at the Tokyo Auto Salon the FT-86 Gazoo Racing, which raced at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, was also presented.
