The Japanese based automaker Subaru and Possum Bourne Motorsport have recently pulled the wraps off a special version of the BRZ during the Sydney Motor Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the Subaru BRZ in question has been developed in a collaboration with Possum Bourne Motorsport (PBMS) and the model has been officially presented to the public for the first time during the 2012 Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. Subaru and PBMS say that three track-ready packages are available for the sports car, with the entry-level adding Recaro seats, six-point Sabelt harness, a rollcage, fuel system tweaks and carbon fiber lightweight components.
For the Stage 2, the two companies are adding the Recaro winged HANS seats, the STI handbrake, the AP front and rear rotors and calipers, the driveline and suspension changes and the 18×8 Enkei lightweight rims wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R motorsport tires. Last but not least, the final package is coming with a full performance parts kit with engine and transmission upgrades. On request, PBMS can also completely strip the sports car in order to lower the weight and to complete the look a custom paintjob can be offered.
