Remember when the first generation Audi R8 came out there were numerous tuners offering look-alike conversions for the more affordable Audi TT? The results were mixed, but it looks like the trend is about to continue.
Now the new Ford GT has been targeted by Zero to 60 Design, which has recently released their Mustang GTT model, which has been redesigned to resemble the new generation Ford GT supercar. At least they’re being clear in their intentions – since the model is called the Grand Turismo Tribute – with the entire bodywork modified to accommodate the new looks. We can see the hood has been elongated forwards to a sharp edge, with a large intake below. The bonnet also features a pair of large extractors mimicking the shape of the ones found on the GT. There are huge side skirts as well which continue to become huge inlets ahead of the rear wheels, reminiscent of the ones on the GT.
The backside is just as “amazing” – depending on your feelings for this outlandish conversion. At least performance is something that can’t be discarded – with a ProCharger supercharger added to the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 motor, complete with PCT Performance management system and with the total system output taken to 800 horsepower (597 kilowatts). There are other niceties – 22-inch HPE Performance wheels, Brembo brakes and Eibach Pro-Street-S suspension.
