The first rendering with the Mercedes-Benz GLA three-door has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into what may become a production version of the model.
The Mercedes-Benz GLA has been officially unveiled just a couple of weeks ago and the model is getting ready to receive a hot version, the GLA45 AMG. But what the company’s fans didn’t think about is a three-door version which will probably remain a simple drawing, as the carmaker has no plans of putting it into production.
The GLA is rivaling the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3 and it has a cargo space of 421 liters or 836 liters with the rear seats folded. The model stands at 4,417 mm in length, 1,804 mm in width and 1,494 mm in height. The entry-level version, the GLA 200, will get a 156 HP 1.6 liter engine, while the GLA 250 will come with a 211 HP 2.0 liter unit. Diesel options will include the GLA 200 CDI, with 2.2L 136 HP unit and the 2.2L 170 HP engine. The top of the line version will be the GLA45 AMG, which will get the same 2.0 liter turbo engine from the A45 AMG and from the CLA45 AMG.
