Another rendering with the two-door version of the Volkswagen NMC has hit the market once again and it’s showing the model in question in a similar shape to the one of the Audi Sport Quattro Concept.
The Volkswagen NMC will soon hit the production line, no questions on that, as it has been confirmed not too long ago, but more artists are providing two-door versions of the model, so with many of them ending up on the desk of a VW executive, don’t act too surprise if you will eventually see on in a dealership nearby. The two images posted below are renderings created by Theophilus Chin and they have been inspired by the Audi Sport Quattro Concept.
Volkswagen will be creating the production version of the NMC (New Midsize Coupe) on the MQB platform, which is already used on a lot of vehicles within the Volkswagen Group, including the Golf 7 or the new generation of the A3. The production variant of this model will rival the Mercedes-Benz CLA and it will get a variety of petrol and diesel engines under its hood. The concept car had a 2.0 liter TSI with 220 HP and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration was made in 6.5 seconds while the top speed stood at 244 km/h (151 mph).
