The Volkswagen New Midsize Coupe has been recently rendered in a two-door body style, adopting a sportier look for the virtual world.
Volkswagen has already announced its plans to put the New Midsize Coupe (NMC) Concept into production and several leaked patent images have already hit the web. But what if Volkswagen would create a two-door version of this vehicle? If you haven’t asked that question, don’t worry because Hungarian artist X-Tomi did and he also created a rendering to give us a glimpse on what it may look like. Keep in mind that such a version of the NMC will probably never hit the production line.
The German based automaker will create the NMC as a main competitor to the Mercedes-Benz CLA but on its production version, thinks will be toned down. The NMC is believed to be riding on the MQB platform once it will reach the assembly line, the same one which is used on the new Golf, on the new A3 and so on. The concept car was powered by a TSI 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, with 220 HP (162 kW). This allowed to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 244 km/h (151 mph).
