Two Maserati models announced for Geneva image

Maserati has officially announced its plans to introduce two brand new models during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, which will be opening its gates for the automotive media tomorrow, March 4.

After successfully unveiling the new Quattroporte generation and the Ghibli, which is the company’s first ever vehicle to get a diesel engine option, the Italian based automaker Maserati has now announced its plans to officially pull the wraps off two brand new models, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere. The first model will actually be the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition.

“The 84th Geneva Motor Show will see two Maserati worldwide premieres. The first is the debut of the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition, developed from the concept car presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September of 2013”, as the company is saying in its official press release.

According to the car manufacturer, the new Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna will be produced in just 100 units, celebrating the company’s 100th anniversary, and each one will be getting leather and cloth seats, an elegant headliner, individually numbered plaque and more. Besides this model, Maserati is said to pull the wraps off a competitor for the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type, probably in a concept form. More details on this sports car will be announced during the Swiss automotive event.
