The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has announced the starting price of the 2013 GL63 AMG in the United States, which will start at 120,000 USD.
The very first AMG version of the luxury SUV 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG is getting ready to be launched in the United States in the first quarter of 2013 and the model will become available to its future customers starting at 120,000 USD. The pricing is not official but the final cost of the vehicle will definitely stand around 120,000 USD, which is basically twice as much as the entry-level version of the 2013 GL-Class, which is available from 63,305 USD, including the 905 USD destination charge.
The new Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG is powered by the 5.5 liter bi turbo engine, which is developing a total output of 550 HP and it has a peak torque of 760 Nm (560 lb-ft). Power is being sent to the permanent all-wheel drive through the AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing the powerful SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (limited).
