The North American based automotive giant Chrysler Group LLC has delayed the production of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee production will be delayed from late June to mid August. This will affect the launch of the model in all markets and in Australia the model will arrive in early 2014. The left-hand drive models will take priority of the right-hand ones and the first vehicles will arrive in showrooms in September.
As a quick reminder, the cheapest version of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee is the Sport, which is priced from 22,995 USD, without the 995 USD destination charge. The model is powered by a 2.4 liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 184 HP (137 kW) and it has a peak torque of 171 lb-ft (231 Nm). The model is followed by the 2014 Cherokee Latitude, with its 24,495 USD price. The model can get an optional 271 HP (202 kW) and 239 lb-ft of torque (324 Nm) 3.2 liter Pentastar V6 under its hood. The Cherokee Limited costs 27,995 USD and the top of the line Trailhawk will set you back for 29,495 USD.
