Alfa Romeo has announced the official starting price of the 4C Spider in the United States.
According to the car manufacturer, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider has a starting price of 63,900 USD, without the 1,595 USD destination charges. The vehicle is already available for order but it will be arriving at dealerships across the nation this summer. The roadster is getting the Track Package, with the high-performance shock absorbers with bigger front and rear sway bars, the carbon fiber side mirrors, the black leather performance seats, the carbon fiber gauge cluster bezel, flat-bottom steering wheel and Pirelli P Zero AR Racing tires.
For an extra cost, the Alfa Romeo 4C can also get the center mounted tips with carbon fiber surrounds Akrapovic exhaust system, the various alloy wheel designs and sizes, varying from 17- to 19-inch, the yellow, black, red or silver painted brake calipers or the seven colors available for the exterior, like the Madreperla White Tri-coat, the Giallo Prototipo, Rosso Competizione Tri-coat, Rosso Alfa, Basalt Gray Metallic, Black and White. The most important part of the roadster can be found under its hood where the 1.75 liter four-cylinder mid-mounted engine can be found. The turbocharged unit is capable of producing a total output of 237 HP (177 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a twin-clutch transmission. From 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h), the model needs just 4.1 seconds and top speed stands at 160 mph (258 km/h).
