Lexus has released a large photo gallery with the 2016 RX in the U.S.-spec.
The sharper-looking 2016 Lexus RX is getting ready to be offered for sale over-seas, but before that will happen, Toyota’s luxury brand is giving us a massive photo gallery with it. According to the car manufacturer, the crossover is going to be offered with an enhanced suspension system which will be providing better steering response and ride comfort. For some extra cash, Lexus will also bring the F Sport package to the lineup, for the all-wheel drive models only, adding the Adaptive Variable Suspension and a sound generator which will enhance the driving experience.
Lexus says that the 2016 RX will become available with two engine choices, the RS 350 and the RX 450h hybrid. Both of them will be getting the optional F Sport Package. The RX 350 has a 3.5 liter V6 direct injected gasoline burner under its hood, rated at 295 HP (217 kW) and 362 Nm (267 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,700 rpm. Power is being sent to the wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The unit has the VVT with Intelligence Wide. The RX 450h on the other hand is making use of a 3.5 liter direct-injected V6 hybrid engine, which is an evolution of the six-cylinder base unit. The total output produced stands at 308 HP (227 kW) and 335 Nm (247 lb-ft), available at 4,600 rpm. No pricing details on the 2016 Lexus RX for the United States market have been announced so far.
