The U.S.-spec Land Rover Discovery Sport has been officially unveiled by the automaker ahead of its public debut which will be taking place in just a few hours, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Land Rover has managed to put the U.S.-spec Discovery Sport into the spotlights these days as the company has officially pulled the wraps off the model which will be presented to the public attending the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show in just a few hours. The vehicle in question will be displayed at the event along with the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover LR4, as the company is stating.
The 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport, in its United States version, will be going on sale over-seas starting from next year. This will be packing a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine under its hood, which will be capable of producing no less than 240 HP (179 kW). The unit will be connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission which will be sending power to the standard all-wheel drive system. More details on the U.S.-spec Land Rover Discovery Sport are currently limited at the moment and will be announced during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
