Volkswagen has announced the official starting price of the Beetle Classic Limited Edition, which will go on sale across the United States later on this week in its two body styles.
The Volkswagen Beetle Classic Limited Edition is getting ready to go on sale in the United States, later on this week. The model in question, in its cheapest version, has been priced from 20,195 USD, without the 820 USD destination and handling charges, and it can be had with a Black Uni paint, a Reflex Silver or a Pure White finis, also coming with a rear spoiler, 17-inch Heritage wheels, multi function steering wheel, navigation, leather wrapped gearshift knob and handbrake lever and several other tweaks.
The Beetle Convertible Classic will be setting you back for 29,995 USD, for the same level of equipment, as the German based automaker is stating. Both vehicles are taking their power from the same 1.8 liter TSI four-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 170 HP (127 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the wheels. The Coupe is returning 33 mpg while the Convertible 32 mpg.
