Volkswagen has recently introduced the new Jetta GLI Edition 30 in the United States, where the model will go on sale early next year.
According to the German based automaker, the new Volkswagen Jetta GLI Edition 30 has been designed in order to celebrate the model’s 30th anniversary in the United States. The vehicle in question can easily stand out from a crowd, thanks to its red accents, Deep Black Metallic, Tornado Red, Pure White and Reflex Silver Metallic finishes, trunk-mounted spoiler, 18-inch Laguna style alloy wheels and special badging, amongst others.
The cabin of the VW Jetta GLI Edition 30 hasn’t been left aside either and this is now coming with V-Tex leatherette seats, red contrast stitching, red accents, leather wrapped steering wheels, faux carbon fiber trim, special floor mats, infotainment system, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio and the LED daytime running lights, Bi-Xenon headlights, GPS navigation and rearview camera for the GLI Edition 30 with Navigation. Some special Edition 30 sill plates are also available.
As far as the engine goes, the model in question is only available with a 2.0 liter TSI four-cylinder unit, just like the standard vehicle, which is producing a total output of 210 HP (156 kW) and it has a peak torque of 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual or a dual clutch automatic transmission. The VW Jetta GLI Edition 30 will go on sale next year.
