The official price list for the new Skoda Octavia generation has been recently announced in the United Kingdom, ahead of its on-sale date scheduled for March.
According to the Czech based automaker, the cheapest version of the 2014 Skoda Octavia to go on sale in the United Kingdom will be available to its future customers starting at 15,990 GBP for the petrol and at 18,040 GBP for the diesel-powered cars. Skoda says that three trim levels will be available for the 2014 Skoda Octavia, the S, the SE and the Elegance, and the model will come with a choice of four engines in the UK.
The first unit to make its way under the hood of the 2014 Skoda Octavia will be a 1.2 liter TSI petrol, with 104 BHP, returning 57.7 mpg and emitting 114 g/km of CO2, followed by the 1.4 liter TSI petrol with its 138 BHP, returning 53.3 mpg and emitting 121 g/km of CO2. The 1.6 TDI diesel will also become available, generating 104 BHP and returning 74.3 mpg while emitting 99 g/km of CO2, along with the larger 2.0 liter TDI, producing 148 BHP, returning 68.2 mpg and emitting 106 g/km of CO2. The end of 2013 will bring the 1.6 TDI Octavia Greenline, which is averaging 83 mpg and it’s emitting 89 g/km of CO2.
Standard items on the 2014 Skoda Octavia S will include the DAB radio, Bluetooth, leather wrapped steering wheel, hill hold assist and 16-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. The mid-range SE will add ESC, front fog lights, body colored door mirrors and handles, automatic air conditioning and height adjustment for the driver’s seat, while the top of the line Elegance will bring sat-nav, cruise control, alcantara and leather trim and 17-inch alloy wheels. The 2014 Skoda Octavia will go on sale in the United Kingdom on the 16th of March.
