The Alfa Romeo Giulia is still a year away from become available in the United Kingdom.
According to the local automotive media, the brand new Alfa Romeo Giulia will be offered in the United Kingdom in September 2016, despite being officially shown at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, a few days ago. The model in question will be competing against the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Audi A4 and the BMW 3-Series and it will be priced similarly. However, no pricing details on the midsized vehicle born in Italy have been made public at this point, for the UK market.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia shown so far is in its range-topping QV (Quadrifoglio Verde) version and this is capable of going up against models such as the BMW M3, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S and the upcoming Audi RS4, which is still uncertain whether it will be offered in a sedan body style or the Avant. The Alfa Romeo Giulia is making use of a 3.0 liter twin turbo engine, signed by Ferrari, which is capable of putting down a total of 503 HP (375 kW). Thanks to this output, the midsized performance sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds. The Giulia QV has apparently lapped the Ring in just 7:39.0. More details on its performance are limited at the moment and will probably be announced over the next few months. You can take a closer look at the Giulia QV in the photo gallery posted below.
