Ford has recently announced the official price list of the facelifted Fiesta ST in the United Kingdom, where the model is now available for order starting at 16,995 GBP.
The 2013 Ford Fiesta ST is coming with a revised suspension, with a 15 mm lowered ride height, with an upgraded braking system, with a three-stage ESC, an updated torque vectoring control and with more “goodies” which will make driving more fun. The facelifted hot hatch is also getting the Ford DAB radio, the cloth Recaro sport seats, the front fog lights and 17-inch alloy wheels on the entry-level version, the ST1.
Unlike its over-seas brother, the European Fiesta ST is available in two body styles, with either three or five doors. Power to the model is provided by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which is producing a total output of 180 HP (132 kW) and it has a peak torque of 240 Nm (177 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which is allowing the hot hatch to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph). Prices for the model start at 16,995 GBP and the facelifted Fiesta ST will arrive in showrooms across the UK this March.
