Jaguar has announced the official price list for its newest model, the XE, in the United Kingdom, where the cheapest version will start from 26,995 GBP.

The petrol XE is using a 2.0 liter turbocharged unit, shared with its bigger brothers , the XF and the XJ, rated at 197 HP and 206 lb-ft of torque or at 237 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque. The base diesel is a 20 liter unit with 161 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque or a more expensive 178 HP and 316 lb-ft of torque. The range topper XE has a 3.0 liter V6 engine under its hood, with 335 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
