The 2015 Jaguar XE is undercutting some of its main rivals in the United Kingdom as the carmaker has announced the official price list.
Jaguar is offering the entry-level version of the XE from 26,990 GBP, on the road, undercutting the cheapest Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which is available from 27,270 GBP, but being more expensive than the base BMW 3-Series, available from 24,255 GBP. The car manufacturer says that customers can already order the XE in the United Kingdom but you will have to wait for delivery which will begin in June.
The base level, the SE, is coming with features such as the satellite navigation system, the cruise control, the gloss black trim, the high quality cloth seats as Jaguar is naming it, the multifunction steering wheel wrapped in soft grain leather, the digital radio and the 17-inch alloy wheels. The Prestige is adding the heated leather wrapped front seats with contrast stitching, the brushed aluminum trim and the Phosphor Blue ambient lighting, amongst others.
The Portfolio is next in the range and this is bringing the 18-inch alloy wheels, the bi-xenon headlights with LED DRLs, the 10-way adjustable front seats, soft grain leather inside and more. The R-Sport will bring you the sports suspension, the glossy black window trim, the perforated leather, the aluminum trim pieces and others. The S is the most performance-oriented version and it can be had with the F-Type’s V6 engine, along with the 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, side sill extensions, red calipers and more. This costs 44,865 GBP.
