The order books for the newest model signed by Mercedes-Benz, the AMG GT, have recently opened up in the United Kingdom.
The Mercedes-AMG GT is taking yet another step into arriving with its future customers, in the United Kingdom this time, with the company announcing the opening of the order books for the model. The sports car in question is being offered, in its cheapest version, from 97,195 GBP, but if the Edition 1, coming in the AMG GT S variant, is what you are looking for, than get ready to pay up to 122,745 GBP, which is significantly more than the standard AMG GT S, costing 110,495 GBP.
The range topper Mercedes-AMG GT S Edition 1 is coming with a deep front splitter, with a fixed rear wing, a carbon fiber roof, unique rims 19- / 20-inch in size, front to rear, leather and suede finish for the AMG performance seats and several other tweaks. Power to the AMG GT is being provided by a 4.0 liter bi turbo V8 engine, which is rated at 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, while in the AMG GT S and Edition 1 this is capable of producing 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque.
