The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently opened the order books for the brand new CLA four-door coupe in the United Kingdom.
According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA will set you back for 24,355 GBP while the top of the line will cost 31,555 GBP. The entry-level version of the current C-Class is more expensive than the cheapest CLA, being priced at 26,270 GBP. The entry-level version will be the CLA 180 and this will get a 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol engine under its hood, which is good for 120 HP and 200 Nm of torque (148 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 9.3 seconds and fuel economy stands at 50.4 mpg UK, while the CO2 emissions stop at 130 g/km.
The CLA 220 CDI is the next one in the lineup and this is powered by a 2.1 liter turbo diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 167 HP and it has a peak torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in this model is over in 8.2 seconds and top speed stands at 230 km/h (143 mph). Fuel consumption is 62.8 mpg UK and CO2 emissions 117 g/km. Two trim levels are available for the CLA in the UK and the cheapest one has dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, 18-inch wheels and more. The AMG Sport will add the exterior styling package, bi-xenon headlights or sports steering wheel and seats.
