Chevrolet has recently announced the starting price for the new Aveo generation in the United Kingdom, which has been set at GBP9.995.
According to the North American based automaker, the 2012 Chevrolet Aveo, or Sonic as it is known in the United States, is coming in three trim levels for the UK, the LS, the LT and the LTZ, where the cheapest one, the LS, can be bought for 9.995 GBP, the mid LT costs 10.995 GBP and the top of the line LTZ has been priced at 12.195 GBP. For 9.995 GBP, future owners of the entry-level of the new Chevy Aveo will get air conditioning, cruise control, remote locking, CD stereo radio, electric front windows, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors and a rear spoiler.
Next in the lineup is the LT, which is bringing steering wheel audio controls, chrome gear knob surround, Bluetooth, Driver Information Centre, sunglasses holder, four-way adjustable driver’s seat and 15 inch alloy wheels. The top of the line LTZ version is adding, besides the features mentioned above, six speakers, rear parking sensors, leather wrapped steering wheel and automatic headlamps. Four engines are available for the new Aveo generation, two petrol, the 1.2 liter with 86 HP and the 1.4 liter with 100 HP, and two diesels, the 1.3 liter VCDi in two outputs, 75 and 95 HP.
