The Kia Cee’d Sportswagon has recently went on sale in the United Kingdom, where the entry-level version of the model has been priced at 16, 895 pounds.
According to the South Korean based automaker, the Kia Cee’d Sportswagon is getting a choice of two engines, both of them diesels, a 1.4 liter which is developing 89 horsepower and a 1.6 liter producing a total output of 126 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque (191 lb-ft). The smaller unit is achieving 67.3 mpg (4.2L/100km) and the 1.6 liter is burning 64.2 mpg (4.4L/100km). Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission but the larger unit is also available with a six-speed automatic.
Future owners of the new generation Kia Cee’d Sportswagon will be able to buy the 1.4 entry-level version for 16,895 GBP in the United Kingdom and the model will get standard features such as Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), VSM, ESC, roof rails, heated mirrors, iPod connectivity and more in the “1” trim, while in the “2” trim the model will add the cruise control, parking sensors, four electric windows and LED daytime running lights. The 2013 Kia Cee’d Sportswagon is being produced in Zilina, Slovakia.
