The British division of Volkswagen has recently announced that the order books for the five-door version of the Up! have been opened.
According to the German based automaker, the five-door Volkswagen Up! is getting a price hike of just GBP365 compared to the three-door Up!, getting a starting price of 8,360 pounds. The only difference between the two versions of the Volkswagen Up! is the number of doors, because they both come in the same dimensions and offering the same features.
The future British customers of the Volkswagen Up! can choose between three trim levels, the Take Up, the Move Up! and the High Up!, but two special editions of the urban vehicle, named the Black Up! and the White Up! can also be added to the count. Volkswagen is predicting that the five-door version of the Volkswagen Up! will get about 50 percent of the sales from the United Kingdom, even if the model is only available for the moment with the 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine with 60 HP and 75 HP.
If you live in the UK, you want to buy a VW Up! and you are concerned in increasing petrol price, the BlueMotion Technology version, which is coming with features like the low resistance tires, can also be ordered. Besides these, a full BlueMotion version, along with an all-electric and a GT are expected to hit the market in the nearby future.
