The hot version of the Seat Leon Estate, the ST Cupra, will be arriving in dealerships across the United Kingdom starting this March.
Seat is getting ready to introduce its hot Leon ST Cupra to a new market, United Kingdom, where the model in question will be launched this March. According to the car manufacturer, the vehicle will be coming with DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control), with a front differential, high performance brakes, red brake calipers, a black rear spoiler, automatic lights and wipers, alloy wheels, satellite navigation system, DAB radio and several other goodies, all of them as standard.
With the hatchback versions of the Cupra being offered in two power outputs, Seat has simplified things with the Leon ST Cupra as this body style is only offered in the more powerful form. This basically means that it has a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine under its hood, which is capable of producing a total output of 276 HP and it has a peak torque of 258 lb-ft.
The model can reach 62 mph from a standstill in 6.1 seconds, in the manual version, slower than the hatchback, while with the automatic DSG dual clutch, the time drops by 0.1 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. The combined fuel economy figure is 42.8 mpg and the CO2 emissions stand at 154 g/km. The Seat Leon ST Cupra will arrive in dealerships across UK this March and prices will start from 28,505 GBP, for the manual, while the DSG will set you back for 29,860 GBP.
