Skoda has recently announced the official starting price of the European Rapid in the United Kingdom which has been set at 12,900 GBP.
After it was officially presented to the public in an European premiere at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Skoda Rapid is entering our news once again, this time with the Czech based automaker announcing its official starting price in the United Kingdom. Skoda says that the European Rapid will be available to its future UK customers from 12,900 GBP, but for the top of the line version British will have to pay 17,850 GBP once the model will be available in the country.
As a quick reminder, the Skoda Rapid will get a variety of engines under its hood, including the 1.6 liter TDI with 88 HP and 230 Nm of torque or with 103 HP and 250 Nm of torque, the new 1.2 MPI with 74 HP and 112 Nm of torque, the 1.2 TSI turbocharged with 84 HP and 160 Nm of torque or 103 HP and 175 Nm and the 1.4 TSI with 121 HP And 200 Nm. The model is 4,483 mm long, 1,706 mm wide and 1,461 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,602 mm. The Rapid is being produced at the Mlada Boleslav plant and it will slot between the Fabia and the Octavia.
