Subaru has announced a significant price cut for the BRZ in the United Kingdom where the model in question is now 2,500 GBP cheaper.
If you were looking up into the Subaru BRZ we have some good news for you because the carmaker has cut down its price by 2,500 GBP in the United Kingdom. The sports car is now carrying a price tag of 23,995 GBP for the base entry-level SE Lux, which has a 6-speed manual transmission, but if the six-speed automatic version is what you are looking for, than get ready to pay 25,495 GBP for this model. A more favorable exchange rate between the pound and the yen was the reason for this price cut.
The Subaru BRZ is using the same engine as the Toyota GT 86, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder, which is producing a total output of 200 HP (149 kW) at 7,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 250 Nm (151 lb-ft), available at 6,000 rpm. The unit can be mated to a 6-speed manual or to a 6-speed automatic transmission and this is basically the only option available. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is made in 7.6 seconds and top speed stands at 233 km/h (145 mph).
