Subaru’s Legacy Tourer, stuff launched in 2009 gets a new addition to the family with the introduction of the new ES Nav.
For £21, and 995 on the road the new ES Nav joins the five range as the entry point model. The ES Nav comes with a 150PS 2.0 litre petrol engine and with the choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or Subaru’s optional Lineartronic CVT transmission.
A full colour satellite navigation system is fitted as standard, there which has a long list of features including touch screen control, CD/DVD playback, integrated Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and steering wheel mounted controls.
Other standard features on the ES Nav model include automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, remote control central locking, dual zone climate control, one-touch fold down rear seats, alloy wheels, electrically adjusted driver’s seat and a Thatcham category 1 alarm and immobiliser.
Subaru’s 150PS engine produces 196Nm of torque. The six-speed manual Legacy ES takes 9.8 seconds to 62mph while the maximum speed is 120mph. It returns 32.8mpg on a combined cycle and produces 199g/km CO2.
The CVT model has a 0-62mph time of 11.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 120mph. It produces 187g/km of CO2 and has a combined fuel consumption cycle of 34.9mpg.
