Toyota has recently introduced the Yaris Hybrid Sport and Yaris Hybrid Active in the United Kingdom, where the two models are already available for order.
The new Toyota Yaris Hybrid Sport and Yaris Hybrid Active have been launched in the United Kingdom. According to the car manufacturer, the Yaris Hybrid Active is cheaper, coming at 14,995 GBP, including the 300 GBP introductory customer saving, getting standard features such as the dual-zone climate control, the electric front windows, the split-folding rear seats, the trip computer and so on. The Yaris Hybrid Sport is more expensive and it will be setting you back for 16,695 GBP. This is adding the rear spoiler, the rear privacy glass, the 16-inch wheels, rear electric windows, rearview camera and so on.
Toyota says for an extra 550 GBP, it will be adding the optional panoramic roof to this vehicle. The two cars are also sharing the same engine, which is a 1.5 liter VVT-i gasoline burner, backed up by an electric motor. The total output produced by this assembly stands at 100 HP (73 kW), which are being sent to the front wheels through a CVT. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the models need 11.8 seconds and they can go up to a top speed of 166 km/h (103 mph). The Toyota Yaris Hybrid Active is eating 3.3 liters of fuel every 100 km (85.6 mpg UK / 71.2 mpg US) and emitting 75 g/km of CO2, while the Yaris Hybrid Sport is doing 3.6L / 100km (78.5 mpg UK / 65.3 mpg US), while emitting 82 g/km of CO2.
