The British based automaker Vauxhall has recently announced its plans to introduce the VXR8 Tourer to the United Kingdom.
According to the carmaker, the Vauxhall VXR8 Tourer is actually based on the Holden VE Commodore and it’s coming with an aggressive front bumper, with LED daytime running lights, ventilated front fenders, 20-inch alloy wheels and new exhaust system. The interior design of the model is receiving leather seats, infotainment system, alloy pedals, AUX, USB, Bluetooth and more. The total capacity in the boot stands at 895 liters, but with the rear seats folded, this can increase to 2,000 liters.
The Vauxhall VXR8 Tourer is powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 431 HP (317 kW), mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. This is enough to allow the model to sprint form 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.9 seconds before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). The Vauxhall VXR9 Tourer will cost 49,500 GBP and it will have a lifetime warranty. Additional details on the model remain unknown for the moment and will probably be announced close to its launch.
