Vauxhall has announced the official starting price of the VXR8 GTS in the United Kingdom as the model has went official.
The Vauxhall VXR8 GTS is now available for order in the UK. According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the model has been priced from 54, 509 GBP, on the road, and it is coming with the 20-inch forged alloy wheels, wrapped in Continental ContiSport Contact 5P tires, with an aggressive front fascia, with LED daytime running lights and several other goodies.
“The very fact that cars like the VXR8 GTS still exist proves that there is a small, but immensely passionate band of customers out there who want to drive something which is unique and special.” He went on to say “In its GTS form the VXR8 offers colossal power and torque in a package that is more technology-led than ever before, yet still retains that unique VXR8-character that no BMW or Mercedes can match”, said Stuart Harris, the head of Vauxhall Carline Brand.
Vauxhall has introduced the VXR8 GTS with goodies such as the 8-inch display for the infotainment system, a dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, suede accents, black leather sport seats, alloy pedals, a head-up display and a Bose audio system. Under its hood, the performance vehicle is getting a 6.2 liter LSA V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total of 576 HP (429 kW) and 740 Nm (545 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds and to go up to a top speed limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
