Audi and Ducati have recently revealed a unique Audi RS5 at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
After being teased for the very first time just a day before writing this article, the Audi RS5 for Pikes Peak is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the German based automaker pulling the wraps off of it. The unique Audi RS5 is being presented along with a new Ducati toy, but more details on the model will be announced on the 12th of August.
“We are teaming up with Ducati at Pikes Peak to celebrate our common heritage at this iconic mountain. In the spirit of coming together, we have something special in store for our biggest fans tomorrow”, stated Audi in the press release.
As a quick reminder, the regular version of the Audi RS5 is coming with a 4.2 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 444 horsepower (331 kW / 450 PS), with a peak torque of 430 Nm (317 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission which is sending power to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The standard coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed which has been electronically limited at 250 km/h.
