Even if nowadays we can change almost everything about the cars we own, the laws insist on using the same old design for the number plates. That applies even to supercars owners, which can get a little frustrating.
A British company called Fourdot has launched “Affinity Plates”. What is that, you may want to know? They are bespoke number plates, designed to match the driver’s taste but also the look of the vehicle, no matter how eccentric it is.
It works quite simply. Technicians scan your car, which is then 3D modeled and a special number plate shape is created. Then you choose the background wallpaper and customize other details, such as the shape of the yellow reflector. Let your imagination run wild!
Are they legal? Of course they are. The manufacturers said that “Affinity Plates are UK road legal and fully comply with the British standard BS AU 145d vehicle excise ad registration Act.”
Designs have already been created for popular cars like Audi A3, Porsche, Lamborghini and Aston Martin and more. If you don’t know which design to choose, Fourdot’s graphic artists can help you with different suggestions that match your car. The best part about these plates is that they cannot be stolen and fitted to other vehicles as they will not fit on another car.
