The outgoing generation of the Hyundai Sonata has recently received some interesting updates, for the 2014 model year.
According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the 2014 Hyundai Sonata, the GLS< is now available for order starting at 21,350 USD, which actually makes it 155 USD more expensive than the previous model. Hyundai says that the updates applied to the Sonata, which is currently in its last model year, include the new front grille, the HID xenon headlights, LED taillights, rear fascia insert and different 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. Changes are being continued in the cabin where the sound insulation has been improved, all models have received a tire pressure monitoring system and better carpets.
The 2014 Hyundai Sonata is now getting a full leather steering wheel too, on the SE and Limited trim levels, along with an HD Radio, a rearview camera, a 4.3-inch touch screen and a color LCD. The SE versions are also getting the body colored spoiler, LED dome light and carbon fiber trim interior, while the Limited has new automatic temperature controls and standard ventilated driver’s seat. As we said just above, the 2014 Hyundai Sonata is the last model year of the car as the 2015 model year will bring the replacement for the vehicle.
