Kia has pulled the wraps off a mildly updated version of the Rio, ahead of the 2014 Paris Motor Show, where it will be officially presented.
The popular B-segment Kia Rio has been slightly updated for the 2015 model year. The model in question has received some fresh touches such as the different tiger nose grille, the different designs for the front and rear bumpers, the new fog lights, the two body hues called the Urban Blue and the Digital Yellow or the wheels, which are now in size from 15- to 17-inch.
The cabin of the 2015 Kia Rio is getting the chrome surrounds for the dashboard mounted air vents, the updated center stack around the sound system, a 7-inch display for the audio / video navigation (AVN) system, a DAB digital radio and some other tweaks to make it more appealing into the eyes of its future customers.
Speaking about the engine lineup you should know that the B-segment car will be offered with a choice of four engines, which will have power outputs ranging between 75 HP and 109 HP (55 kW and 80 kW), connected to either a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission. The 2015 Kia Rio is produced in Sohari, South Korea, and it will be launched in Europe in early 2015.
