The updated version of the McLaren MP4-12C supercar will be officially presented to the public during the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The British based automaker McLaren has recently announced that the McLaren MP4-12C, in the revised version with the extra 25 horsepower, will make its debut between the 28th of June and the 1st of July during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 McLaren MP4-12C will get an extra 25 horsepower to a total output of 616 HP, along with a recalibrated seven-speed twin-clutch transmission and some minor interior modifications.
McLaren says that the revised MP4-12C will also get a revised system which will raise the supercar’s ride height by 40 mm at the front and by 25 mm at the rear at speeds up to 37 mph. The updated McLaren MP4-12C will be available for its future buyers on the Old Continent in October, when it will finally hit the European dealerships. The more powerful McLaren MP4-12C will have a starting price of 176,000 GBP, which is actually 7,500 GBP more than the current version. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the revised British supercar but we will keep you updated with the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the MP4-12C will be presented.
