The first rendering with the updated version of the Mitsubishi Outlander has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look on the facelifted variant of the model.
Mitsubishi is currently testing out a facelifted version of the Outlander but before the model will be officially introduced, over the next few months, we can get a glimpse on what it may look like thanks to the image posted above. The photo in question is a rendering which has been signed by Theophilus Chin and it is basically a simple facelift of the model which has received some influences from its larger brother, the Pajero.
The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander is believed to gain a modified front fascia and a slightly updated rear end, with some modifications being made in the cabin too. The Japanese based automaker will probably not offer an upgraded engine lineup so expect the same units under the hood of the “new” model. As you probably already know by now, the third generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander has been in production since 2012 and it is currently being assembled in Japan and in Russia, coming in with a choice of six engines and four transmissions.
