The Japanese based automaker Nissan has recently announced the official price list for the upgraded Leaf in the UK, which has been set at 15,990 GBP.
According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the Nissan Leaf in the United Kingdom will set you back for as little as 15,990 GBP, after the Government’s electric car grant of 5,000 GBP. The top of-the line Tekna model is priced, however, at 25,490 GBP, before the 5,000 GBP grant is being applied, and if you want to lease the batteries, you should know that the price starts at 70 GBP monthly depending on the length of the contract and the mileage made annually.
Nissan says that future owners of the updated Leaf in the UK will have to choose between three trim levels, the Visia, (29,990 GBP), the Acenta (23,490 GBP) and the Tekna (25,490 GBP). Their prices are dropped by 5,000 GBP if the battery lease is being chosen. The cheapest contract is worth 70 GBP monthly, for a period of minimum 36 months, with 7,500 miles a year. The model is now coming with an improved aerodynamics, updated heating system, 70 percent more efficient, updated regenerative braking system and more. The suspension system has been tuned to suit UK roads.
