Updated Peugeot 308 was launched in Malaysia image

Peugeot has recently announced that the updated 308 was launched in Malaysia, where the model has a starting price of RM102,888 for the 308 VTi.

According to the car manufacturer, the Peugeot 308 is available locally with the official distributor of the brand, Nasim, which is offering the model in two versions: 308 VTi and 308 Turbo. Peugeot says that the two versions of the 308 are getting the same front grille as the 508, along with the new LED daytime running lights incorporated into the redesigned front fascia. New wheels are also available on the two models, the 16-inch Santiaguito alloy for the VTi and 17-inch Melbourne alloy for the Turbo.

Both the Peugeot 308 VTi and the Peugeot 308 Sport are getting features like the World in Peugeot sound system with six speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, USB, cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning with rear blowers, one-touch electric windows and height reach adjustable steering column, but additionally, the two models can be equipped with the Follow Me Home system, automated front windscreen wipers, front and rear fog lights, folding mirrors and a rear diffuser. The 308 Turbo is getting extra aluminum pedals, leather wrapped sport steering wheel, white instrument dials, piano black finish and a GTi spoiler.

Peugeot is saying that the two version of the 308, the VTi and the Turbo, are both fitted with safety features like the two side airbags, the ABS, the EBD, the Emergency Brake Assist and two front airbags, while the 308 Turbo is getting extra DSC and ESP, along with two curtain airbags. The Peugeot 308 VTi is priced from RM102,888 while the Peugeot 308 Turbo costs from RM121,888, both prices on the road with insurance.
