A revised version of the Toyota Highlander will be officially presented to the public later on this month, during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2014 Toyota Highlander will make its public debut on the 27th of March, at Jacob Javits Centre in Manhattan, during the 2013 New York Auto Show. The updated Highlander is getting some styling tweaks from the new generation of the RAV4 and this should make it more attractive to its future customers and also appear as a family-friendly SUV.
Rumors are saying that the 2014 Toyota Highlander will get an engine lineup made out of a 2.5 liter four-cylinder unit with 178 BHP (133 kW) and 230 Nm (170 lb-ft) of torque, a 3.5 liter V6 with 268 BHP (200 kW) and 336 Nm (248 lb-ft), and probably a hybrid version, which might use a 2.5L four-cylinder 156 HP (116 kW) internal combustion engine, along with a 141 HP (105 kW) electric motor. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the 2104 Toyota Highlander in its upgraded form so we will have to wait for the New York Auto Show to open its gets on the 27th of March in order to find out more.
