Volkswagen has recently announced that updated versions of the Polo and the Vento have been recently launched in India.
According to the German based automaker, the “new” Polo and the “new” Vento now get new alloy wheel design, black inserts in the headlights, leather wrapped steering wheel, handbrake lever and gear knob, Bluetooth connectivity, new music system with USB, steering wheel mounted audio controls and speed sensing volume control, while the Vento is adding a new navigation system with a rear view camera.
VW says that the top of the line versions of the Polo and the Vento are now cheaper by Rs 40,000 and Rs 30,000. The updated Volkswagen Polo Trendline, for the petrol engine version, now costs 4.89 lakh, compared to the old price which was set at 4,67 lakh, while the top of the line Highline diesel version is now priced at 6,84 lakh, compared to the previous 7.36 lakh.
The 2013 Volkswagen Vento Trendline petrol will set you back for 7.29 lakh, up by Rs 11,000, while the top of the line version of the Vento Highline, the diesel, costs Rs 9.89 lakh. The updated Volkswagen Vento and the updated Volkswagen Polo will go on sale in the second half of September, in India.
