Volkswagen has recently introduced the facelifted version to the United Kingdom, as the model in question has went on sale from 11,100 GBP.
The fifth generation of the Volkswagen Polo has recently received an updated version, just earlier this month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and now the model in question is being placed into the spotlights once again, as the carmaker has announced its launch in the United Kingdom. The facelifted VW Polo has gained a number of interesting upgrades and the biggest ones can definitely be found in its three- and four-cylinder engines, which have been updated or even replaced.
The 2015 Volkswagen Polo has a 1.0 liter three-cylinder brand new petrol engine, which is rated at 89 HP in the Polo BlueMotion TSI, and this can return 68.9 mpg and emit just 94 g/km of CO2, on the combined EU test cycle. This is also the first ever petrol powered Volkswagen to get the BlueMotion badges on its body and it should become available to its future customers by the end of this year. The base version will get a 59 HP 1.2L three-cylinder unit and there will also be a 1.4L four-cylinder with 148 HP. The top of the line version is the Polo GTI, coming with 189 HP from the 1.4 liter unit. First deliveries of the updated Polo will begin in June.
