The Mazda British division has recently announced the launch of the upgraded Mazda3 in the United Kingdom, where the entry-level version has been priced at GBP14,995.
According to the car manufacturer, the five-door hatchback has been developed in Japan and it’s now coming with a more muscular visual appeal, a new front end, new rear bumper and new alloy wheels, along with the improved ease-of-use for the drive inside, new equipment and a quitter cabin.
“We anticipate that the upgraded Mazda3 will enable us to increase sales of our C-segment contender during 2012. Mazda3 was already a great car and the changes to the upgraded model are subtle but everyone makes a difference to either fuel economy or driving feel”, said the Mazda UK sales director, Peter Allibon.
Standard safety equipment on the Mazda3 “S” is made out of ABS, EBD, EBA, DSC, TCS, driver and passenger front airbags, front and side full-length curtain airbags, active front seat head restraints, ESS (Emergency Stop Signalling System), ISOFIX and anti-theft alarm and immobilizer. As for the interior, the standard Mazda3 is offering AUX connectivity for MP3 players, Radio/CD with four speakers, front center console, multi information display with trip computer and black cloth trim contrasting grey cross-threads. The exterior is bringing body-colored bumpers and rear spoiler, black door handles, electric door mirrors, tinted glass and 15-inch steel wheels with 195/65 tires.
